Johl is from the region of Bengal in North East India. The sauce is indulgent, enhanced with cardamom and cinnamon.
Take this blend of spices, and simply add tomato puree. Full instructions are inside.
You can use the Bengali Johl spice kit with vegetables, chicken, or red meats. I often use this to make egg curry.
