To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee we launched our first Quiet Hero Award in May 2022 to recognise the people who have made a special impact on the community or on someone’s life. We have received many inspiring nominations which gave us so much joy to read. Four of the nominees: Claire Laird, Lauren Bryant, Lee Minton and Lizzie Marshall in particular captured our hearts and were shortlisted as our finalists.

Terms and Conditions
The deadline for nomination submission is 19th May 2022. We aim to announce the result in early June 2022.
All completed nominations will be acknowledged. A confirmation email will be sent to you. We will not inform your nominee separately to confirm the entry but may contact them for further detail of the story.
We can only accept nominations made by adults (18 years old and above) on nominees who are 18 years of age or older.
The Melted Inside Quiet Hero Award reserves the right to extend the closing deadline. Melted Inside International Limited reserves the right to publish submissions from the winner and all the entrants for PR & Social Media purposes. Where certain information is sensitive, such as health condition, or personal details, please mark ‘not for publication’ within your submission. Entries and the winning story may be used in post-campaign materials.
An independent panel of judges will review and score entries remotely to create the desired shortlist. All judges pre-scores are combined at the point of completion, and the highest scoring nomination will be the winner.
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered, or feedback given regarding the selection of winning nomination. The winners will be decided by the judging panel.

Any personal data relating to you will be retained and used by us in accordance with GDPR legislation and the Melted Inside Privacy Policy. We use the information collected from you to administer the Quiet Hero Award process, such as application queries, shortlisted allocation, promotion of nomination processes and to notify you of the outcome of your application.
We may use your personal information to communicate with you, for record keeping purposes, to track the activity on our site, to publish trends and/or to improve usefulness and content of the website or application process.
We will also undertake direct marketing to you (and the contacts you provide as part of the application), or issue communications with respect to judging outcomes, in-house marketing materials and site promotional visits.
We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to other parties.
How long we will keep your information
We keep your information only as long as we need to, to provide you with Quiet Hero Award news, updates and communications about Meltedinside.com. Should you receive an e-newsletter or other communication from us, you can unsubscribe at any time via the link provided at the bottom of the email.
