The Funniest Mum + Me Photo Competition

Terms and conditions 

This competition (the "Competition") is organised by Melted Inside and is open to all UK-based participants from March 7, 2025, to March 22, 2025.

Eligibility

1. 1. 1. Participants must be aged 18 or over and residents of the UK.
      2. Employees of Melted Inside, their immediate family members, and employees of Melted Inside’s agents or suppliers are not eligible to enter.
      3. Entries from companies or organisations will not be accepted.
      4. By entering the Competition, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
      5. For inquiries, email letusknow@meltedinside.com with "Mother and Me Photo Competition" in the subject line.
      6. Entries must be submitted via email to letusknow@meltedinside.com by 21:00 on March 22, 2025.

Entry Requirements 

1. 1. 1. To enter, participants must:
         • Follow @MeltedInside on Instagram.
         • Email a photo featuring a funny moment of themselves with their mother to letusknow@meltedinside.com
         • Include full name of the entrant and a short description of the photo submitted (maximum 100 words).
      2. The entrant must own the rights to the photo and confirm that it has not been published elsewhere.
      3. Entries on behalf of another person or joint submissions are not permitted.
      4. Melted Inside is not responsible for incomplete, lost, or technically faulty entries beyond its reasonable control.

Data Protection 

1. 1. 1. Participants' names, addresses, and email addresses will be stored and used solely for administering the Competition, in accordance with Melted Inside’s Privacy Policy.

Entry Deadline 

1. 1. 1. The deadline for entry submission is 21:00 on March 22, 2025.

Prize Details 

1. 1. 1. The winner will receive two £40 Gift Vouchers for use on MeltedInside.com (the "Prize").
      2. The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative.
      3. Melted Inside reserves the right to modify or replace the Prize at any time.
      4. Gift Voucher purchases will only be delivered to a UK address.

Shortlisting and Winner Selection 

1. 1. 1. The Melted Inside team will shortlist five entries.
      2. The shortlisted entries will be announced on Instagram during the week of March 24, 2025.
      3. The winner will be chosen based on the highest number of "Likes" on Instagram.
      4. The winner will be notified via Instagram direct message by April 2, 2025.
      5. The winner must respond within two (2) days of notification; otherwise, the Prize will be forfeited and awarded to another entrant.
      6. If a winner rejects the Prize, Melted Inside reserves the right to select a replacement winner.
      7. Winners may be asked to participate in publicity but are not required to do so.
      8. Melted Inside reserves the right to verify a winner’s eligibility before awarding the Prize.

Limitation of Liability 

1. 1. 1. Melted Inside’s decisions regarding the Competition are final and binding.
      2. Melted Inside is not liable for any loss, injury, or disappointment arising from entering the Competition or accepting the Prize.
      3. The Prize must be used in accordance with the provided instructions. The winner is responsible for checking allergens before consumption.
      4. Melted Inside disclaims responsibility for any technical issues related to the Competition, except as required by law.

General Conditions

1. 1. 1. Melted Inside reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Competition at any time due to factors beyond its control, including suspected fraud.
      2. Any changes to the Competition will be communicated promptly.
      3. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform.
      4. Participants provide their information to Melted Inside, not to any third party.
      5. The winner’s name will be available two (2) days after the closing date upon request via letusknow@meltedinside.com.
      6. Melted Inside will handle personal data in accordance with UK data protection laws and will not share it without consent.
      7. The Competition and these terms and conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
