In 2020 Sky Wave Gin was named the World’s Best Contemporary Gin at the World Gin Awards. The premium gin was launched in 2018 by passionate gin drinkers Andy Parsons and Rachel Hicks, who wanted to create a range of exceptional gins. They established an artisan distillery in Oxfordshire and over seven months, developing 40 recipe iterations and with hundreds of tastings, they launched their signature London Dry Gin. It combines 13 botanicals including blackberries foraged from local hedgerows to reflect Oxfordshire, and more exotic spices from their global adventures. Sky Wave London Dry adheres strictly to the London Dry method where absolutely nothing is added after distillation other than the finest Natural Mineral Water, from nearby Blenheim Palace. Sky Wave Gin supports WaterAid through Work for Good making a donation for every bottle bought. Sky Wave not only reflects the adventures Rachel and Andy have experienced over mountains and seas, it’s also a term used in radio; in their former lives, they were respectively a BBC radio reporter and a Royal Signals officer. The Sky Wave Gin range also includes a Navy Strength Gin, a Rhubarb & Raspberry Gin and a Spiced Apple Gin Liqueur.
