Manfood was started by two men - partners in life and business, Andre Dang and Jon Honeyball.
The brand was born after Jon kept complaining about a lack of decent, chunky and crisp piccalilli. Andre offered to make him some, and Jon loved it so much, he encouraged him to sell it.
The first 'customers' were their wedding guests - who each received a jar of piccalilli as a wedding favour. From there, they set up a kitchen, worked on new products and launched.
