As a team of foodies, health enthusiasts and keen cooks we wanted to incorporate the extraordinary benefits of Seaweed into our diets so embarked on a journey of discovery, fascination and development to harness the vibrancy of this magnificent “Wonderfood” in easy to use ways. Tim and Kate have been friends since childhood and always shared many interests. Tim has worked in the property industry for 30 years. It was however his love of the outdoors, exercise and the need for energy that has driven his interest in high impact foods - his mantra "what you put in is what you get out" Kate a trained cordon bleu chef, worked in catering for many years before co founding Seaspoon in 2018. Seaspoon have a licence to harvest by hand, in a sustainable manner ,from a beautiful part of the South Devon coast. Once picked we dry, grind and blend to make our Seaweed seasonings. Seaspoon is easy to use, just sprinkle in smoothies, salads, yogurt and dressings or add to cooking to give a natural vitamin and mineral boost to your food. Read more
