Rare Tea Company is an independent company based in London.
The company was founded in 2004, by Henrietta Lovell (known as the Tea Lady), to source and supply the world's best tea - direct from farmers and their tea gardens.
Our aim is to benefit both the people who craft our tea and you, our customers, who drink it.
By always sourcing for quality over price we know we are bringing you the best tea possible; and by buying direct we know we are putting the value of your tea into the farmers hands not middle men.
We also only work with farms committed to an organic approach to farming; this means no herbicides or pesticides and absolutely good for you.
We founded Rare Charity in 2016 - to create long-term and sustainable social change by re-investing a percentage of revenue from Rare Tea, into the young people connected to tea-growing communities.
