This is a luxurious liqueur with the flavours of a Kentish Gypsy tart riffed into a White Russian construct.

Gypsy Tart is a Kentish thing, if you went to school in Kent Gypsy tart would always be on the school dinner menu and I love it! It's a very sickly sweet dessert made with evaporated milk and Muscovado sugar. Every time I see a Gypsy Tart in a bakers window I have to hold myself back from buying one. In drink form I've toned down the sweetness, and made it a White Russian, exchanging cream for evaporated and oat milk, and blending Demerara rum with the vodka to bring out the richness backed up with espresso. It's a delectable, indulgent cocktail and to be drank as an alternative to whiskey cream based cocktails, though this shakes well and is not as thick, so you can drink a larger glass. How to make: Either pour over ice and grate dark chocolate over the top or shake with ice to make frothy.
