The recipes include sponge cakes such as lemon drizzle, chocolate cake with ganache and an impressive treacle toffee and caramel cake, together with cookies, flapjacks, brownies, sticky toffee pudding, scones and cheesecakes. There is a 'new skill' at the end of each chapter, to emphasise that the kids are learning baking skills without even realising. The recipes are graded in each chapter, starting with easy recipes and progressing to more complex ones. This book certainly isn't exclusively for kids. Anyone new to baking will love it.
